Soup of the Moment

A cup or a crock of our homemade soup of the day served with French bread.  cup  $2.95     crock   $5.95

               

French Onion Soup Gratinee

Cognac and Sherry with caramelized onions in a rich beef stock topped with homemade croutons and baked with Gruyere, Provolone and Parmesan cheeses.  Accompanied by French bread.    $7.95

Wild Mushroom Bisque

A sumptuous puree of cream, herbs and spices with fresh wild mushrooms served in a crock with homemade French bread.   cup  $2.95           crock  $5.95

Mission Peasant Lunch

A crock of homemade soup of the day or wild mushroom bisque accompanied by fresh fruit, a variety of domestic and imported cheeses and French bread.   $11.95          

Substitute French Onion Soup   $12.95

Chicken Salad

Homemade chicken salad with cashews, apples and Door County dried cherries with fresh fruit and French bread accompaniment.   $9.95

Caesar Salad

Crisp romaine lettuce tossed in our homemade Caesar dressing, topped with baked croutons and freshly grated Parmesan cheese (add anchovies if you like!).   $8.95

                Add grilled chicken   $11.95                   Add grilled wild Alaskan Salmon   $14.95

Apple and Goat Cheese Salad

Mixed exotic greens tossed with balsamic vinaigrette dressing, topped with Granny Smith Apples, Door County dried cherries, spiced candied pecans, red onion and Chevre cheese.   $9.95

Add grilled chicken   $12.95                  Add grilled wild Alaskan Salmon   $15.95

Mediterranean Rim Salad

Chopped romaine lettuce tossed with shallot-red wine vinaigrette dressing, topped with cucumbers, cherry tomatoes, Kalmata olives, chickpeas,  fresh parsley and Feta cheese.   $9.95

Specialties

Italian Mac and Cheese Bake

Macaroni baked with Mascarpone, Gruyere, and Parmesan cheeses topped with seasoned panko bread crumbs.  Accompanied by French bread.   $8.95

Great Lakes Walleye

Fresh daily from the cold waters of Lake Superior, lightly dusted and pan-sautéed served with a side of roasted garlic aioli.  Accompanied by apple horseradish slaw and French bread.  $12.95

Sandwiches

Accompanied by kettle potato chips or cole-slaw (French Fries add $2)

Chop-House Burger

1/2 pound Certified Angus Beef chop-house style burger, ground fresh daily, char-grilled medium.  Served on a Kaiser roll with lettuce and tomato and a side of aioli.   $9.95

Add the following items if you like:               

                                Cheese (Cheddar, Gruyere, Provolone) $1                  Bacon $1

Sautéed Mushrooms $ .50                                                    Sautéed Onions $ .50

Grilled Chicken Breast Sandwich

Tender breast of chicken, marinated and char-grilled. Served on focaccia bread with lettuce, tomato and a side of pesto mayonnaise.   $8.95

Add the following items if you like:

Philly cheese Steak

Certified Angus Beef prime rib, slow roasted and thinly sliced, topped with sautéed bell peppers and caramelized onions, finished with melted Fontina cheese on a fresh warm French Baguette with a side of horseradish cream sauce.   $11.95

Gourmet Grilled Cheese

Cheddar, Gruyere and Provolone cheeses on toasted multi-grain bread with basil pesto and tomato.   $8.95

Bruschetta Garden Vegetable Burger

Grilled garden vegetable burger with house special tapenade, topped with marinated tomatoes and onions and Parmesan cheese.  Served on a homemade Kaiser roll with lettuce and a side of pesto aioli.   $8.95    

California Rueben

Sliced turkey breast, apple slaw and Gruyere cheese grilled on multi-grain bread. $8.95  

BBQ Pork Sandwich

Slow-roasted with our succulent barbeque sauce.  Served on a Kaiser Roll.   $7.95
